A large-scale tour of the Ne Prosto Orchestra conducted by Madiyar Toyboldy started in Kazakhstan. This spring, 35 to 80 orchestra and choir musicians present a concert program in 14 cities of the country.
The program is dedicated to the works of Hans Zimmer, one of the most influential film score composers of our time, whose music was played in such cult films as Dune: Part One and Dune: Part Two, Interstellar, Pirates of the Caribbean, Kung Fu Panda, Batman, Gladiator, The Lion King, Sherlock Holmes, Madagascar, The Last Samurai, as well as in the popular video game Call of Duty. This ambitious project is supported by Eurasian Bank.
“This is the second tour of the band, which takes place with the participation of the Bank. Last year, the concert program based on the soundtracks of the Turkish TV series “Magnificent Century” aroused such a great response from viewers in the regions that we considered it important to continue cooperation with the Ne Prosto Orchestra. Together, we can give Kazakhstanis vivid musical impressions of the world’s film and musical heritage interpreted by the Kazakhstan band. It is also important for us to contribute to the development of the creative economy of Kazakhstan, the potential of which is huge,” said Lyazzat Satiyeva, CEO of Eurasian Bank.
The orchestra has already presented its concerts in Almaty, Astana, Taraz, Shymkent, Turkestan, Kyzylorda, and there are 8 more cities in Kazakhstan ahead. All the concerts of the tour are held at the leading concert venues in Kazakhstan, and each of them promises to become a vibrant cultural event, attracting music connoisseurs throughout the country.
“It is a great honor for us to perform music that millions of people know and love. Each concert is an opportunity to share a piece of your soul with the audience, to convey the emotions and atmosphere created by great composers. Our main goal is the cultural enrichment of the people, showing the best quality on the market, both in terms of content and technical performance of compositions. I am sincerely grateful to Eurasian Bank for its support and trust – today we are implementing a large-scale project together and sharing art with a wide audience throughout Kazakhstan,” said Madiyar Toyboldy, founder and conductor of the Ne Prosto Orchestra project.
Ne Prosto Orchestra is the first independent symphony orchestra in Kazakhstan, founded in 2017 in Almaty by Madiyar Toyboldy, a graduate of the Kazakh National Conservatory. The group of 120 musicians specializes in performing soundtracks of famous films and TV series, as well as arranging popular melodies and collaborations with popular Kazakhstani performers. The orchestra emphasizes its self-identification by including Kazakh national instruments in the performance of world popular compositions.
The original concept quickly won the love of the audience, and the band’s concerts are invariably sold out. The inspiring vocals of the mixed choir and the dynamic video sequence of the best moments of the film trilogies create a unique atmosphere, turning each performance into a real spectacle.
